Job summary

Sidecar Health, Inc. seeks a Staff Data Analytics Engineer to design data models and pipelines in a Snowflake-first stack. You will define metrics, validate data, and ensure privacy and compliance in a regulated healthcare setting. Remote role with US-based candidates in selected states.

You’ll embed with Product, own the data from raw to trusted metrics, and leverage AI tools like Claude and Snowflake Cortex to move faster while maintaining quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years analytics or data engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Math/Stats/Economics or equivalent
• Strong SQL and dbt skills with incremental models and testing
• Hands-on Snowflake experience, including semantic modeling
• Commitment to data quality with tests and monitoring
• Experience collaborating with product teams to define metrics

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt and semantic models in Snowflake
• Develop pipelines behind those models from ingestion through transformation
• Create AI-ready data and documentation for Cortex and CoWork agents
• Guide data design decisions with Product and Engineering
• Partner with product managers to translate roadmaps into metrics
• Identify gaps in data collection and drive resolution with Product/Engineering
• Provide analysis to inform product decisions and evaluate feature performance
• Review AI-generated code and outputs for correctness
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and access controls in designs
• Document models, metrics, and design decisions
