Job summary

Engine is seeking a Staff Product Data Analyst for the Engine X team. You will be the analytical execution layer for a card-transaction data product, ensuring accurate, well-structured outputs, reliable dashboards, and clear reporting for product, finance, and leadership.

You’ll own dashboards, data models, and reporting assets, collaborate with analytics engineering and data engineering, and support experiments. 7+ years of fintech analytics and strong SQL are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data analytics experience with clean, accurate outputs.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and window functions.
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experiment analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve Engine X dashboards covering activation, spend, bookings, rewards, and retention.
• Track and report key Engine X metrics regularly for stakeholders.
• Investigate data anomalies and communicate findings clearly.
• Write and maintain complex SQL queries on Snowflake across multiple data sources.
• Develop reusable data models and reporting assets.
• Support A/B tests and experiment analysis; present results to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers and product managers to scope requests and ensure accuracy.
• Document metrics definitions, logic, and data quality practices.
