Engine is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our data-driven team. You will partner with product, pricing, and engineering to translate data into actionable business insights and scalable analytics infrastructure.

You will lead statistical analyses, build and maintain dashboards, and collaborate with data engineers to enable ML-ready data assets. Strong SQL, analytics, and communication are essential for influencing leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst with a proven track record of manipulating and extracting value from datasets.
• Strong fundamentals in statistics and econometrics (e.g., regressions, hypothesis testing).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and analyses.
• Experience with Looker, Snowflake, and Amplitude is a plus.

• Partner with stakeholders across product, pricing, and engineering to define metrics, reporting, and analyses.
• Lead analytics projects and derive actionable insights to drive product and business performance.
• Design and build statistical analyses to answer specific business questions and power product functionalities.
• Participate in product and growth experiments.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to generate and track relevant product and business metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers to establish data assets and feature stores for analytics and ML models.
• Manage the company's BI reporting dashboards.
• Leverage SQL to explore large datasets for pricing and performance insights.
• Independently investigate open-ended business questions and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Translate analytics findings into clear insights for senior leadership.
