Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Data Analyst, Product to turn complex data into clear insights for user experience improvements and feature development. You will own end-to-end data pipelines and dashboards for the Pro product team, defining north star metrics and driving experimentation.

You will build scalable data infrastructure, apply causal inference to growth strategies, and collaborate with senior leadership to inform product direction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering.
• Experience with advanced trading products in equities, crypto, or similar.
• Hands-on experience building and owning production data pipelines (dbt, Airflow).
• Strong SQL mastery and Python proficiency for pipelines and analysis.
• Experience designing and running A/B tests with causal inference.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional data initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Strong communicator who translates data insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Degree emphasising analytical rigour (software engineering, economics, hard sciences).
• Based in Canada, US, UK or EU and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data analyses and dashboards for the Pro product team.
• Define north star metrics and analytical frameworks guiding product decisions.
• Build and maintain scalable data infrastructure and full-funnel reporting.
• Lead experimentation across Product with A/B testing and causal inference.
• Collaborate across the data team to raise data quality and engineering standards.
• Embed AI tooling into workflows, including LLM-augmented pipelines.
