Job summary

Self Financial, Inc. is seeking a Staff Analyst to join the Product and Customer Analytics team to drive growth across the customer lifecycle. You will own metrics and analytics for Credit Builder Account and Credit Card portfolios, influencing roadmaps with data-backed insights.

You will work on building AI-native analytics platforms, semantic layers, and dashboards while collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to define measurement strategies and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field.
• 8+ years in data analytics supporting product teams, fintech preferred.
• Experience with SQL in cloud data warehouses.
• Experience building dashboards with BI tools.
• Experience with analytics engineering ELT tools.
• Experience with AI (Claude, Codex).
• Proficient in Python or R.
• Experience with A/B testing and causal inference.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical projects to identify drivers of customer and product behavior.
• Contribute to data models with Data Eng and Analytics Eng.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to define measurement strategies.
• Build AI workflows and semantic layers for automation.
• Develop BI dashboards and reports for lifecycle KPIs and campaigns.
• Apply statistical and predictive techniques to forecast initiatives impact.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with fintech, AI, analytics, and BI trends.
