Job summary

Current is seeking a Data Analyst for the Payments team to drive insights from customer banking data and product performance. You will translate business questions into analyses, partner with product and engineering, and shape decisions that impact payments features and experience.

The role emphasizes building dashboards, running A/B tests, and delivering clear recommendations to leadership while ensuring data accuracy and governance across pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• 3+ years as a data analyst, preferably in fintech/tech/B2C.
• Strong SQL skills and relational DB experience (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and experimentation design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities in payments.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs.
• Conduct discovery and deep-dive analyses for data-driven decisions.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to measure feature success.
• Design and evaluate experiments to optimize products and customer experience.
• Monitor customer behavior across deposits and transactions.
• Deliver insights to leadership and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure data quality and governance across analytics pipelines.
• Support production analytics and on-call fraud response.
