Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Chief Engineer for the BaPs division in Baltimore, MD. This on-site, full-time role leads the program's engineering direction, serves as the primary technical liaison with the customer, and ensures rigorous application of engineering practices across design, development, integration, and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 14+ years in STME fields or equivalent
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
• Experience leading Integrated Product Team (IPT) initiatives
• Extensive SEIT background with program execution
• Solid EOIR design principles and architecture understanding
• Strong verbal and written communication with diverse stakeholders
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for all engineering aspects of the program
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for the customer
• Lead alignment across Systems Engineering and other disciplines
• Ensure adherence to sound engineering processes and company standards
• Oversee SDR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, SVR, and TRR content and criteria
• Coordinate with System Architect, SEIT Lead, Product Team Leads and PM
• Manage risks, opportunities, and technical baseline integrity
• Support program management and cross-functional collaboration
