Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to join our team supporting advanced radar systems. You will lead a multi-disciplinary group, coordinate integration and test activities, and drive technical decisions across proposal, design, and production phases.
This role requires a CS/engineering background, DoD Secret clearance, and strong systems engineering expertise.
Qualifications
- BS in a STEM field with 12+ yrs experience, or MS with 10+ yrs, or PhD with 7+ yrs.
- U.S. Citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance.
- Expert in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong systems engineering concepts: requirements analysis and verification.
- Knowledge of RF hardware and related test equipment.
- Familiarity with Agile principles and implementation.
- Ability to qualify for program access (SAP/SAR).
Responsibilities
- Serve as PMO point of contact for systems integration and testing.
- Lead technical experts and ensure resources for tasks.
- Lead integration, testing, and troubleshooting for radar systems.
- Drive technical decisions, manage risks and opportunities.
- Support proposal development and new program acquisition.
- Interpret statements of work from program leadership.
- Interface with departments to secure staffing and vendor requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to articulate project needs.
