Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Production Engineering Manager 2 onsite to lead a 10–15 engineer team within the BaPS Hardware Engineering Design Services group.

You will drive drawing releases, design updates, and manufacturing support while guiding staff through performance evaluations and growth opportunities. The role requires a STEM degree with extensive leadership experience and US citizenship to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of experience.
• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain US Secret clearance.
• Experience leading technical/project teams and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Experience with engineering document generation and change processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical team of 10–15 engineers across projects.
• Oversee staffing, performance evaluations, and career development.
• Manage design updates, drawing releases, and manufacturing support.
• Support proposal writing and program management activities.
