Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Engineering and Sciences (E&S) Baltimore and Partnered Sites Division seeks a Consulting Chief Engineer to guide technical direction across a program from design through delivery in Baltimore, MD. The role is an on-site, full-time position with responsibilities spanning architecture, integration and verification.

The incumbent will serve as the technical authority, coordinate with program management, and ensure compliance with company processes and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in STEM with 12+ years of experience (or 14+ with Master’s).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance required; SAP access possible.
• Experience leading IPT initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Extensive SEIT background: systems integration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering direction and execution for the program across design, development, integration, testing and delivery.
• Serve as primary technical POC for the customer, providing guidance on engineering issues.
• Drive alignment across Systems Engineering and other disciplines; ensure coordinated technical activity.
• Enforce sound engineering practices, process adherence, and quality standards.
