Job summary

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is seeking a dedicated live-in Housing Mayor to lead our staff housing program for about 250 staff. The role centers on creating a clean, safe, and supportive living environment, with a strong emphasis on service, culture, and confidentiality.

You will manage housing assignments, support wellness initiatives, and coordinate camp setup, social events, and daily operations while modeling core values and ensuring policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21+.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Prior experience in residence life, camp housing, or staff leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive staff culture and provide outstanding service in housing and living needs.
• Maintain staff housing assignments using Microsoft Teams and/or Excel.
• Plan and assist with staff camp setup, events, and wellness activities.
• Ensure daily mail collection, sorting, and delivery.
• Conduct daily checks and cleaning of bathhouses, laundry, tents, and common areas.
• Address staff concerns promptly while maintaining confidentiality.
• Uphold housing expectations per handbook and perform housing checks.
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
• Abide by policies in the staff handbook.
