Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, building, and owning backend systems at scale.
• Experience integrating internal systems and third‑party platforms.
• Strong testing, observability, performance, security, and production operations.
• Hands-on mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional partners.
• Healthcare or consumer health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own reliable backend services and APIs.
• Own complex projects from technical discovery through launch.
• Build systems connecting member experiences with lab, logistics, billing, analytics.
• Make architectural decisions balancing speed, maintainability, performance, security, and scale.
• Improve service reliability through testing, observability, and incident response.
• Partner with mobile and product engineers to define contracts and data flows.
• Identify technical risks and reduce unnecessary complexity.
• Establish and evolve development standards and tools as the team grows.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to increase engineering quality and speed.
