Job summary

Anthropic is seeking experienced software engineers to join the Connectivity team in San Francisco. You’ll design, build, and operate the core connectivity infrastructure behind external tool calls, including the MCP proxy and token management systems, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability.

You will own reliability, participate in architecting scalable solutions, and collaborate across teams to ship robust connectivity features for Claude and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong experience with backend/platform engineering.
• Experience building reliable enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core connectivity infrastructure (MCP proxy and token management).
• Own reliability for infrastructure including SLOs, on-call, incidents and postmortems.
• Develop admin controls and permission models for IT governance in enterprises.
• Contribute to MCP standard and ecosystem, including Python/TypeScript SDKs.
• Turn ambiguous outcomes into shipped, scoped work and validate with products.
