Qualifications

• 8+ years building backend or platform systems in production.
• 3+ years leading large scale, complex projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead.
• Care about correctness and data integrity as design concerns.

Responsabilités

• Design and ship billing capabilities end to end — pricing primitives, payment flows, contract models, revenue pipelines.
• Build for correctness; develop idempotency, reconciliation, and audit trails.
• Own interfaces, whether billing API or revenue dataset, and design durable contracts.
• Make build-vs-buy decisions, leaning on third-party platforms while building core primitives where needed.
• Own the payments stack: authorization, retries, processing costs, disputes, and fraud controls.
• Drive down manual work: handle enterprise contract amendments and pricing config changes to scale.
• Operate what you ship: set SLOs, surface discrepancies before month-end, and be on-call.
• Collaborate across Growth, Sales, Finance, and Product to align needs.
