Anthropic Limited is seeking a senior software engineer to join the Billing team, focusing on end-to-end billing capabilities, pricing primitives, and revenue data pipelines. You will work with Finance, Product, Sales, and Accounting to ensure accurate, scalable revenue systems.

The role emphasizes correctness, data integrity, and a high bar for reliability. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, own the payments stack, and drive initiatives to automate manual workflows for enterprise

Competenze

• 8+ years building backend or platform systems in production.
• 3+ years leading large scale, complex projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead.
• Experience shipping in fast-moving environments with shifting requirements.
• Strong focus on correctness and data integrity in money-related systems.
• Able to collaborate across Product, Finance, Sales, and Legal.

Mansioni

• Design and ship billing capabilities end to end — pricing primitives, payment flows, contract and entitlement models, revenue data pipelines.
• Build for correctness and establish idempotency, reconciliation, and audit trails where needed.
• Own interfaces such as billing APIs and revenue datasets to ensure robust contracts.
• Decide where to extend third-party platforms and where to build in-house primitives.
• Own the payments stack, including authorization rates, retries, costs, disputes, and fraud controls.
• Reduce manual work via scalable automation around enterprise contracts and pricing config changes.
• Operate your deployments with SLOs and revenue-pipeline instrumentation for early issue detection.
• Collaborate across Growth, Sales, Finance, and Product to align on GAAP-clean data.
