Job summary

Quo is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the AI Agent Platform that powers calls, texts, and workspace agents. You will own the technical direction and write substantial code to enable agents at scale, shaping how customers experience AI in Quo.

You will guide architecture, collaborate across teams, and mentor engineers while staying close to LLM developments and agent tooling to drive practical roadmap proposals.

Qualifications

• Built and scaled backend services for high-user product.
• Shipped LLM-powered systems to production or ML platforms.
• Experience with agent platforms or orchestration layers.
• Strong in TypeScript/Node or willing to ramp up.
• High agency and fast learning in AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the agent platform and its execution engine.
• Build advanced orchestration across multiple subagents.
• Design memory and self-learning for agent improvement.
• Drive scale, performance, reliability and cost.
• Create clear docs and advocate for platform adoption.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and hands-on coaching.
• Stay updated on LLMs and agent tooling and propose roadmaps.
