Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a Staff AI Engineer focused on multi-agent frameworks to build a scalable AI platform for agents and their interactions. You will enable creation, coordination, and deployment of sophisticated agents with a strong emphasis on privacy, search integration, and orchestration across LLMs.

You will work with backend AI, evaluate agent performance, and stay ahead of AI advances to enhance agent collaboration. Remote-friendly role with a focus on robust, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with multiple LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere) and understanding their strengths and limits.
• Expertise in orchestration frameworks like LangGraph for agent workflows.
• Strong background in evaluating AI systems in complex testing environments.
• Deep understanding of AI and ML fundamentals with backend focus.
• Passion for staying updated with AI developments in agent tech.
• Experience with data anonymization and privacy/compliance in AI.
• Experience with search tech and AI integration.
• Experience building or deploying Multi-Agent Frameworks or Systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a platform for creating and managing AI agents and their interactions.
• Integrate multiple LLMs and ensure scalable agent orchestration.
• Use LangGraph and similar frameworks to enable multi-agent coordination.
