Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. is seeking an experienced Attorney to independently manage moderately complex civil litigation matters in Texas, with the role primarily remote and required appearances in-state.

You will develop sophisticated legal strategies, lead settlements, and mentor junior lawyers within a team that values work/life balance. The ideal candidate holds a JD and TX bar admission with 5+ years of trial experience in insurance law, exceptional research and negotiation skills,

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with bar admission in TX.
• Minimum 5 years of trial attorney experience, preferably in insurance litigation.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage all phases of moderately complex civil litigation.
• Lead settlement negotiations and participate in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Develop, implement, and refine advanced legal strategies for discovery and trial prep.
• Utilize e-discovery tools and case management systems to improve efficiency.
• Advise clients and Claims Representatives with clear legal opinions and guidance.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support staff; lead training sessions.
