Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Texas bar admission in good standing; other licenses may be required for federal boards.
• Knowledge of insurance law, workers' compensation, and No Fault law.
• Proficient in e-discovery and case management tools.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage cases from start to finish under supervision.
• Organized, time-managed, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Litigation execution across all phases including discovery, hearings, trials, mediations, and drafting pleadings and motions.
• Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to Claims Representatives and insured clients.
• Utilize e-discovery and case management technologies to improve efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and collaborate on strategies to mitigate legal risks.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Provide timely updates to insured clients and claims professionals.
• Participate in organizational improvement initiatives within Staff Legal and Global Legal & Compliance.
• Uphold high standards of legal ethics and licensing compliance.
