Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff App Ops Engineer to lead operational excellence and site reliability for the always-on Fintech platform serving millions of customers. You will own incident response and design scalable cloud-native data systems to deliver reliable services at scale.

You will collaborate across teams, drive resiliency practices, and mentor engineers while expanding expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating infrastructure in AWS with SRE discipline.
• Deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise with high-availability and DR strategies.
• Proficiency in a modern language for app DevOps automation (Go, Java, Python, or Ruby).
• Strong observability, performance tuning, and incident management experience.
• Experience leading cross-team initiatives and driving resiliency practices.

Responsibilities

• Own 'always-on' reliability at scale across distributed systems on AWS.
• Architect cloud-native data systems with high availability and security.
• Build AI-powered tools to auto-detect, triage, and remediate issues.
• Lead incident response and Production Support, including on-call rotation.
• Drive resiliency and chaos engineering practices and disaster recovery runbooks.
