Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering in Mountain View to lead a hands-on team of 10–15 engineers focused on reliability of Fintech Platform services running on AWS. You will shape operational excellence strategy, drive incident maturity, and push toward autonomous AI-driven operations that reduce toil and MTTR while delivering high-value customer outcomes.

Qualifications

8+ years in systems engineering or SRE/infra with leadership responsibility.
Experience operating production infrastructure in AWS at scale (EC2, EKS/ECS, VPC, RDS/DynamoDB).
Strong track record of high availability (99.9%+) for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operational excellence for Fintech Platform services and define strategy for 99.999% availability.
Lead a team of 10–15 SREs; hire, mentor, set goals, develop leaders.
Participate in architecture reviews, contribute to code/IaC, and debug production issues.
Define and execute an AI Ops roadmap embedding autonomous detection and remediation.
Improve toil reduction and automation; measure toil and velocity gains.
Drive incident management maturity including P1/P2 and blameless postmortems.
Design and scale AWS infrastructure with resiliency, auto-remediation, multi-AZ/region failover.
Define/report SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and availability metrics.
Collaborate with software engineering, product, security, and compliance to embed reliability.
