Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in Mountain View seeks a Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering to lead a hands-on team of 10–15 engineers responsible for the availability and reliability of Fintech Platform services on AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering or SRE/infrastructure with 3+ years in people management.
• Hands-on production infrastructure experience in AWS at scale (EC2, EKS/ECS, VPC, RDS/DynamoDB).
• Track record of high-availability outcomes for mission-critical systems, ideally fintech/payments.
• Experience with incident management, postmortems, and SRE practices.
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, networking, IaC, and chaos/resilience tooling.
• Excellent communication, and ability to present risk and strategy to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational excellence for Fintech Platform services and achieve 99.999% availability.
• Lead and grow a team of 10–15 SREs; hire, mentor, set goals, develop leaders.
• Hands-on leadership: review designs, contribute code/IaC, dive into production issues.
• Define and execute AI Ops roadmap for autonomous detection, diagnosis, and remediation.
• Identify toil, automate repetitive workflows, and measure automation impact and toil reduction.
• Drive incident management maturity: incident command, high-severity response, postmortems.
• Scale AWS infrastructure with resiliency, auto-remediation, and multi-region failover.
• Define/report SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and tie investments to faster customer delivery.
• Collaborate with software, product, security, and compliance teams on reliability postures.
• Establish on-call practices, runbooks, alerts, and escalation paths.
