Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Finance Analytics professional to own the source-of-truth financial datasets and pipelines across Snowflake/Databricks. You will ensure SOX-compliant controls, build scalable data structures, and partner with Accounting/FP&A to support close and reporting.

Ideal candidates have accounting exposure, expert SQL, strong Python, and experience with dbt, Airflow, and modern data warehouses. This role offers equity, bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Accounting exposure or relevant finance experience.
• Expert SQL and strong Python.
• Deep data modeling experience.
• Production ETL/ELT pipelines with dbt and Airflow.
• Modern data warehouse experience (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift).
• Staff-level scope and cross-team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting and FP&A to support month-end and quarter-end close, building datasets, reconciliations and reporting.
• Make financial data and pipelines audit-ready: SOX controls, lineage, change management and evidence for auditors.
• Design and own architecture of curated, source-of-truth financial datasets in Snowflake/Databricks.
• Build and own scalable batch and near-real-time pipelines with Airflow/dbt.
• Define reusable data quality and reconciliation frameworks with SLAs.
• Drive data contracts with upstream engineering teams and mentor Analytics Engineers.
