Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking a Staff Analog Design Engineer to be the technical focal point for major analog and power-management blocks in PMIC and mixed-signal products.

You will apply specialized expertise to design problems, own significant designs from architecture to silicon validation, and remain hands-on while mentoring other engineers and leading reviews. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates within the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design.
• Strong CMOS transistor-level design, simulation and debugging.
• Experience with PMICs, DC/DC converters, or power-management tech.
• Ability to take blocks from spec to tape-out and production.
• Ability to lead design reviews and mentor other engineers.
• Collaborates across Analog, Digital, Verification, Layout, and Product Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for major analog and power-management blocks.
• Translate requirements into architectures and design strategies.
• Lead design, simulation, verification, and layout supervision of CMOS PMIC circuits.
• Own circuit performance against functional, power, area, robustness, quality, schedule.
• Lead technical and design reviews and guide other engineers.
• Collaborate with Layout to optimize physical implementation.
• Lead silicon bring-up, lab evaluation, and production ramp.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Master's degree in related engineering

PhD in related engineering
