Job summary

Renesas is seeking a Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer to provide technical leadership in the development of complex Power Management ICs and mixed-signal semiconductor products. You will guide major analog subsystems, influence design strategy, and establish best practices across analog and power-management development.

You will mentor designers, work across multiple disciplines, and drive product decisions from concept to silicon validation and production.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design with demonstrated domain expertise.
• Deep CMOS analog circuit design, simulation, verification, layout considerations, and silicon behavior.
• Significant experience with power-management ICs or closely related mixed-signal products.
• Demonstrated success leading technically complex IC designs from concept and architecture through silicon and production.
• Experience resolving significant cross-block or system-level analog-design problems.
• Ability to establish technical approaches where precedent or available information may be limited.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a domain expert and technical leader for analog and PMIC development.
• Lead architecture and design strategy for major analog subsystems and PMIC products.
• Translate requirements into robust system-, subsystem-, and circuit-level solutions.
• Lead design reviews and top-level verification from feasibility to production.
• Mentor analog designers and share technical guidance across projects.
