Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. seeks a Senior Staff Analog Design Engineer to lead development of complex PMICs and mixed-signal ICs.

You will guide architecture, design strategy, and technical direction across analog subsystems, solving challenging problems and defining best practices from concept to silicon production. You will work with systems, digital, verification, layout, and test teams, mentoring engineers and shaping product decisions through engineering judgment and domain expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with extensive PMIC/mixed-signal experience.
• Advanced degree or PhD preferred with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven track record in analog/mixed-signal IC design and silicon bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design strategy for major analog subsystems and PMIC or mixed-signal products.
• Own technical direction across analog subsystems and product-level design activities.
• Direct design reviews, silicon bring-up, characterization, and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with System Architecture, Digital, Verification, Layout, Applications, and Test teams to resolve cross-functional challenges.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices in analog design and IP reuse.
