You will partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to translate customer needs into scalable AI solutions. The role emphasizes technical leadership, secure and reliable systems, and cross-functional collaboration to raise engineering standards across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with cross-functional leadership.
• At least 2+ years building and operating production AI/ML systems.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation.
• Design distributed, cloud-native services with modern practices.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy and architecture for scalable AI-powered products.
• Lead design and delivery of production-grade generative AI and related systems.
• Collaborate with product/design/data science/engineering to translate needs.
• Establish engineering standards for quality, observability, security, privacy.
• Evaluate AI models and frameworks through rigorous experiments.
• Mentor engineers and provide cross-team technical guidance.
• Identify risks and trade-offs to accelerate delivery.
• Communicate decisions and results to leaders and stakeholders.
