Job summary

Arketa is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build AI products that dramatically reduce operational work for studio owners. You’ll modernize core architecture, build agentic loops, CI, and observability to enable a fast-paced, autonomous team.

This is a product engineering role focused on developer experience and internal tooling to multiply the team’s impact. You will join a small, senior distributed team with high autonomy, mentoring engineers while delivering shared patterns and reliability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, evidence matters more than years.
• Full-stack contributor; ability to work across stack.
• Fluent in JS/TS and AI-native tooling.
• Experience leading migrations and improving reliability patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build AI products that automate studio operations and enhance customer value.
• Develop agentic loops to improve codebase and internal systems.
• Collaborate across the stack (TS, Node, NestJS, React, Postgres) to ship features daily.
• Mentor engineers and establish scalable engineering patterns.
• Improve observability, alerting, and incident response.
