Arketa is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build AI products for studio owners, shipping fast while modernizing core architecture. You’ll develop agentic loops, CI, and observability in a distributed team environment, impacting real small business owners.

You’ll work across the stack (TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, Postgres) to ship features daily, mentor peers, and help shape AI tooling for the wellness industry. This role offers ownership and growth within a dynamic startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, evidence > years.
• Full-stack contributor; work across the stack.
• Fluent in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• AI-native; experience with agentic workflows or automation.
• Experience with migrations or large-scale refactors.
• Production reliability: observability, alerting, debugging live issues.
• Mentorship through code reviews and pairing.
• Strong product judgment; scope ambiguous problems pragmatically.
• Operate with high autonomy and low process.

Responsibilities

• Build AI products that let studios automate operations.
• Develop and improve agentic loops to strengthen the product and codebase.
• Own features end to end from scoping to shipping and measuring impact.
• Simplify infrastructure and operations to accelerate delivery.
• Strengthen production safety nets: detect, alert, and respond to issues.
• Work across the stack (TypeScript, Node, NestJS, React, Postgres).
• Mentor teammates through code reviews and pairing.
• Advise on patterns and tools to increase team speed.
