Job summary

CVS Health seeks a senior AI/Cloud engineer to design, build, and operationalize scalable, secure GenAI solutions across AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI. You will drive architecture, pipelines, and vector search while ensuring HIPAA compliance and governance for healthcare data.

You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and optimize performance, cost, and scalability of AI systems in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in large-scale software development.
• 5+ years solution architecture or system design experience.
• 5+ years building large-scale microservices/APIs using Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure GenAI solutions across cloud platforms.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with data scientists, clinicians, IT, and compliance teams.
• Define metrics and evaluation methodologies, ensuring model accuracy, privacy, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute reusable patterns and accelerators.
