Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions across our enterprise. You will leverage cloud-native architectures, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and modern software practices to deliver secure, scalable AI capabilities that align with business objectives.

Collaborating with product, data, and security teams, you will drive model evaluation, deployment, and monitoring while ensuring Responsible AI and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or AI engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience building, deploying, or supporting AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, including serverless services, APIs, event-driven architectures, or cloud-native development.
• Proficiency in Python and building scalable applications.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases, agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys AI and Generative AI applications using cloud-native services and modern software engineering practices.
• Builds and maintains AI-powered solutions utilizing AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, LLMs and ML frameworks.
• Develops RAG systems, including document ingestion, vector search, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines.
• Creates and tests prompts, workflows, and agentic AI solutions using modern frameworks.
• Develops APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations for scalable AI capabilities.
