Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior AI/ML engineering leader to design, build, and operationalize scalable GenAI solutions across the affiliate lines of business. You will blend hands-on engineering with architecture and platform leadership in a HIPAA-regulated environment.

You will lead ML system design, data pipelines, and model training across AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI, collaborating with data scientists, clinicians, IT, and compliance teams, while mentoring engineers to deliver secure,

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering large-scale ML systems.
• Proven track record in building microservices and APIs with Node.js.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS and GCP AI/ML services.
• Familiar with vector databases and tool-usage for retrieval augmented generation.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, and compliant engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable ML systems and pipelines.
• Lead model training, evaluation, and deployment across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists, clinicians, IT, and compliance teams.
• Define performance metrics and ensure model governance and safety.
• Mentor engineers and contribute reusable patterns and accelerators.
