Job summary

JLL is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the front lines of innovation, embedded with cross-functional teams to rapidly design, prototype, and deploy solutions that address high-priority problems. This role demands rapid from concept to working prototype with enterprise-grade security and reliability, across multiple teams.

You will own the end-to-end AI-agent driven delivery, extend tooling, redesign data pipelines, and ensure production-grade quality while mentoring

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of software engineering experience, with embedded technical delivery or customer-facing roles.
• Strong software architecture background capable of independent system design across varied tools and platforms.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as a primary development workflow; experience building plugins/skills is a plus.
• Experience deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore; familiarity with MCP server/client is required.
• Data engineering and full-stack development experience across backend, APIs, and front-end interfaces.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead multiple stakeholders without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for complex data and AI problems from discovery to technical blueprint.
• Evaluate and select tools and architectures across multiple platforms for diverse teams.
• Define architecture decisions and trade-offs for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design scalable, modular systems balancing speed, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain AI agents, plugins, and reusable capabilities across engagements.
• Deploy and operate AI agents in production via AWS Bedrock AgentCore; mentor engineers.
