LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for a growing manufacturing organization in North Richland Hills, TX. This role focuses on GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations, with exposure to SOX and opportunities to improve accounting processes.

The successful candidate will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, support inventory costing, assist with financial statements and audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years accounting experience with GAAP and month-end close.
• Strong Excel skills: PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• ERP/Accounting system experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Perform reconciliations for banks, prepaids, accrued liabilities, and fixed assets.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with A/R, A/P, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support inventory costing and manufacturing cost accounting.
• Assist with financial statements, schedules, and analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audit documentation.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with sales tax filings and compliance reporting.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and SOX controls.
• Support special projects and process improvements.
