Job summary

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role maintains the general ledger, assists with month-end close, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, 1–3 years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles required.
• ERP experience with SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain fixed asset, prepaid expense, and accrual schedules.
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and company accounting policies.
