LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a confidential client in the Denton area. This role focuses on financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and inventory accounting within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to support accurate reporting and informed operational decisions. The position emphasizes SOX controls, high attention to detail, and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification, public accounting experience, or cost accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting and partner with operational leaders.
• Prepare monthly forecasts and analyze financial performance.
• Participate in month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations for accuracy.
• Support SOX compliance by maintaining internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis to management on a regular basis.
• Monitor inventory valuation and assist with cycle counts.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements.
