RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team reporting to the Controller. This remote-first role supports a national footprint with flexible opportunities for candidates in eligible states.

Responsibilities include daily bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, assisting month-end close, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and supporting external auditors.

Qualifications

• Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions)

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
