Job summary

DCM Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support Cash, AR, and AP across six Maryland entities and the management company (DCM, Inc.). The role involves ad hoc analysis, reporting, and participation in year-end closings, with emphasis on accurate cash tracking and vendor management.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in accounting, 4+ years of accounting experience in a multi-entity environment, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Acumatica. Hybrid work in MD is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field required.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting/finance with increasing responsibility.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment; elimination/consolidation experience is a plus.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP's, charts, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Process daily cash receipts and update the ledger for all bank and other cash activities.
• Handle AR functions including billing, collections, and customer inquiries.
• Process vendor invoices for payment and maintain AP records.
• Assist with vendor statements reconciliation, 1099 reporting, and year-end closing tasks.
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support annual external audits for Maryland entities.
