Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to join our remote‑friendly team. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting, perform bank reconciliations, and support the month‑end close process while ensuring GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years relevant accounting experience required
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
