Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an accounting professional to handle day-to-day activities, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes. You will help ensure GAAP compliance and timely financial reporting while supporting internal controls and external audits.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of accounting experience and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP). This is a remote-first role with national reach, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, with 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
