Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
• Experience with GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries for gas sales.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure proper accounting and reporting of key data.
• Assist in financial schedules and reports required by regulatory bodies.
• Assist with budget/forecast preparation and tracking.
• Oversee fixed asset system and reporting for internal and external auditors.
• Pull data and generate reports from ERP and internal systems.
• Review credits and postings for compliance with policies.
• Record Mark to Market adjustments monthly.
• Support CFO, Controller, and senior accountants on special projects.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in continuous accounting process improvements.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
