The Staff Accountant will work from our Canton location, supporting the Controller and CFO on various accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, finance, or related experience.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly gas sales.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure proper accounting and data reporting.
• Assist with budget/forecast preparation and tracking.
• Oversee fixed asset reporting and interaction with external auditors.
• Maintain general ledgers and assist with external audits.
• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or improvement opportunities.
