Job summary

The candidate will report to the VP of Finance and Administration and contribute to audits, year-end inventory, and finalizing monthly statements. Strong Excel skills and a dependable, collaborative attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years accounting experience preferred.
• GL and reconciliation experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Hands-on and proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Team-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial reports, records, general ledgers and perform general bookkeeping.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including prepaid insurance and accruals.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for submission to Company Directors.
• File quarterly CAT and Sales tax.
• Maintain fixed asset schedule and depreciation, including SAGE.
• File 1099 Forms.
• Monitor receivables and follow up as needed.
• Maintain budgets, depreciation schedules, cash flows, etc.
• Review payroll reports and GAAP entries.
• Analyze data for variances and anomalies.
• Participate in audits and year-end inventory.
