Job summary

Trueline Talent is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a growing client in Canton, OH. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and people and wants hands‑on exposure to AR, AP, invoicing, and payroll support.

You will use Acumatica to enter and maintain financial data, assist with reconciliations, and help keep the office running smoothly. A friendly attitude and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Some accounting or bookkeeping experience OR a college degree with strong customer service and an interest in accounting.
• Outgoing, personable attitude with enjoyment helping others.
• Excellent communication and confidence answering phones.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with numbers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Team-first mindset with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting activities, primarily AR and AP, including invoicing and payment processing.
• Serve as first point of contact for customers, vendors, employees, and visitors.
• Answer calls, gather information, respond to inquiries, and connect customers with the team.
• Assist with payroll-related paperwork and employee questions.
• Enter and maintain financial information using Acumatica.
• Support basic reconciliations, audits, and other accounting processes.
• Assist with deliveries and general office coordination.
• Contribute to keeping the office organized and running smoothly.
