Qualifications

• CPA and/or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required.
• 3+ years of work-related experience in accounting, required.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or entities strongly preferred.
• Experience with government contracting a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the review and reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts and bank accounts.
• Assist in the month and year-end close activities and G/L account analysis including generation and validation of various month and year-end reports.
• Gather data to determine costs of business operational activity such as maintenance of aircraft, materials used, etc.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the financial system.
• Analyze monthly GL expenses to reclassify variances if warranted and making sure that system entries are booked to the correct accounts.
• Book accruals as needed for month and year-end close.
• Accounts payable and receivable duties may be assigned as needed for team coverage.
