Atrium is seeking a proactive Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will contribute to a high-performing finance team in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes GAAP compliance, accuracy, and timely closes. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with major ERP systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting.
• Proficient in GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports.
• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and internal accounting policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects.
