SAHARA Las Vegas is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. The role focuses on fixed assets, asset depreciation, and maintaining asset schedules in the accounting system, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with GAAP and gaming regulations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting standards.
• Experience with General Ledger and Fixed Assets.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, lien law, and change orders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and asset analyses.
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Develop and monitor construction management system including projects, budgets, cost codes, and POs.
• Coordinate with auditors and compile information as needed.
• Ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
