Job summary

Saracen Casino Resort is seeking a Staff Accountant/Sr Accountant to support the general ledger function and ensure GAAP-compliant recording of all transactions. You will work with Accounts Payable and Finance team members to code entries and assist with month-end close processes.

Responsibilities include reconciling balance sheet accounts, reviewing AP batches, preparing journal entries, and supporting special projects.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years direct accounting experience.
• Balance sheet account reconciliations experience required (Sr. Accountant).
• MS Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook, required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and upload journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile balance sheets accounts as directed.
• Assist in month end close process.
• Attend necessary training meetings and support other projects as directed.
