The Venetian Las Vegas Gaming LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage month-end close, record journal entries, prepare reconciliations, and perform financial analysis across operating units. Ensure GAAP compliance and adhere to The Venetian policies.

The role also covers fixed asset accounting, joint venture and retail accounting, with cross‑functional collaboration with Operations and Accounting teams to deliver accurate, timely financial information.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar discipline is required.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of Finance or Accounting experience within industry or public accounting firm is required.
• Strong PC skills such as Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of mainframe financial systems (AS/400, Infinium and/or Crystal) and Cognos familiarity.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members.

• Supports the execution of internal operational improvement strategies.
• Builds relationships with Operations contacts.
• Ensures quality output.
• Ensures the production of accurate and timely financial information in accordance with GAAP and The Venetian Resort accounting policies.
• Adhere to Company policies regarding closing process, account reconciliation procedures and standards.
• Perform day-to-day accounting activities for your assigned areas.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations, analysis, journal entries, etc. in connection with the closing process.
• Maintain, prepare and record transactions to the General Ledger.
• Assist other accountants in preparing trend analysis and other special analysis.
• Generate ad hoc accounting reports as needed.
• Assists in managing the P&L for the operational group(s) assigned.
