Job summary

Saracen Casino Resort is seeking a Staff Accountant/Sr Accountant to lead the general ledger function and work with Accounts Payable and the Finance team to ensure accurate GAAP coding and compliance. This role supports month-end processes, reconciliations, and special projects as directed by Finance Management.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of direct accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, and strong Excel/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related area preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years direct accounting experience.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Infinium or other general ledger software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger function with Accounts Payable and Finance team.
• Develop, review and upload journal entries as needed.
• Reconcile balance sheets and assist month-end close.
• Review AP MMS transactions and resolve issues before month-end.
• Provide exceptional service and maintain a professional work environment.
